Gen1 - The Korean Special Hyundai Coupe
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of HMC, 500 units of a special limited
edition Hyundai Coupe were released.
To set these one-off coupes from the crowd was a striking 'viper' stripe style
paint job, available in blue/white and black/yellow.
Unknown to the eye is the lightweight alumiunium body, making the limited
edition Hyundai Coupe a mere 2500lbs compared to the 2685lbs (kerb weight) of the standard
model.
Performance changes were also made to give 154bhp and 140lbs of torgue, this
was all supported by race-tuned Sachs shock absorbers to enhance the road
handling abilities.
